Chris Riggi, best known for his role as Scott Rosson in the TV series Gossip Girl and Jacob White in the Twilight parody comedy, Vampires Suck, has told me via Twitter that he has auditioned for the role of Alec Lightwood in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
I first noticed it on IMDb this morning, so I thought I'd go straight to the source to confirm!
So, the question remains as to if Chris is still in the running for this role. Many TMI fans that I talked to this morning were really excited about the prospect of Chris playing Alec.
