The Telegraph have released an interview today with Jemima West, who is set to play Isabelle Lightwood in City of Bones next August. She talks about growing up in Paris as well what it's like to act in a full on French TV show.
“I’m completely English, but I grew up in Paris, and went to school here. My parents moved when I was five,” she tells them.Talking about her part in The Mortal Instruments:
“They are warriors, fighters, and they live in their own world,” she explains, admitting, “I had no idea that the fan base was so enormous for the books.” She will now be fully aware that the legions of teenage girls obsessed by what Publisher’s Weeklydescribe as Clare’s “smart/chic horror” will expect an authentic performance from her ink-haired demon-killer.
