VIDEO: Interviews from the Toronto Premiere of 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones!'

August 15, 2013 was the best day of my life!

It was the day of the Toronto premiere for this summer’s biggest movie, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones! I was given the opportunity to be on the red carpet and interview the talented cast: Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Kevin Zegers and Robert Sheehan and also the amazing director, Harald Zwart.

Mehek (our awesome photographer) and I got to our spot on the red carpet an hour before the stars would arrive so we were preparing for our interviews… My heart was racing, palms were all sweaty, and jittery with excitement because this was my first time ever being on a red carpet!

An hour later we saw a huge black SUV arrive near the stage of the red carpet, the door opens and you hear the fans scream, “HARALD!”

Once Harald arrived to our spot on the carpet, we gave him one of our The Mortal Institute pin and he loved it! He even took a photo for us with the pin.

Unfortunately, we were not able to record our interview with Harald on video but I transcribed the audio I recorded on my phone below:
Interviewer: How has it been promoting the first film while working on preproduction for the next film?Harald: It has been great meeting all these fans on the tours and premieres. But we will be back here in September to start filming City of Ashes.Interview: That`s really amazing we can't wait! We have another question for you and it is can you tell us a little bit about bringing on Sigourney Weaver into the sequel?Harald: It`s going to be amazing to have such a talented actress in the movie and I am a big fan of her films.Interviewer: Oh I know, I loved her in Alien. Thank you so much for the interview Harald!Harald: Thank you too and for the pin as well.
Once we were finished talking to Harald, we could tell Robbie had arrived because the fans went crazy! Then Kevin, Jamie, and Lily arrived on the red carpet, so if you were in downtown Toronto that day and heard girls screaming, that was why.

We had gifts to give to all of them during our interview instead of reading about it, we recorded their reactions and also the Q&A portion. Enjoy!

Aren't they a hilarious and down to earth cast? I am so happy they are our Simon, Alec, Jace, and Clary!

What did you guys think of our interview with the cast? Feel free to leave your comments below!
