IT'S A WRAP: The Mortal Instruments finishes principle photography

According to exec producer Martin Moszkowicz, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones has finished principle photography today.

The movie, which has been shooting for about 57 days in Toronto, will come out in theaters August 23, 2013, but we are looking forward to a teaser trailer during Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn 2.

Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins on set of 'City of Bones'

It has been a long time since we've gotten any pictures from the TMI set. Well today was a special day for us because we finally have some! Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins are bundled up in their jackets. Filming for 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones' will soon be wrapping on Wednesday, November 7th. Cassie Clare shares pic of Jared Harris' hand

Here's our very first look at Hodge's hand!!! Cassie Clare has done such an amazing job of getting hand pictures (the only non-costume pics she is allowed to take on set at this point), so we are thrilled to see her hand with Jared Harris'. What exactly has he been up to at this point?

As you can see he has a rune on his forearm. It looks to be the "soundless" rune.

Ok, so I've been promising we would post THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES fan video we sent to set. We tried our best to put together an awesome video that fans would be proud of and that the cast would like. Magnus Bane has Landed in Toronto!

Godfrey Gao announced his arrival to Toronto by tweeting a picture from the Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones executive producer Martin Moszkowicz also announces the arrival of Magnus. 

Gao plays Magnus Bane, The High Warlock of Brooklyn in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

Who knew that we'd get a glimpse of the real romance blossoming on the set of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones thanks to the work of the delicious crew of Just Jared? Today, TMI Set Day 5, a photog got this shot of Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins stealing a kiss during what looks like to be a break between takes.

Many fans are die hard Clary and Jace fans, but some wonder if this is merely method acting. Others suggest it's the start of true love. A few fans worry that a real relationship, just like we've recently seen with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, could eventually turn south and cause trouble on the set.. Nevertheless, we all can sigh now, be excited about the kiss and worry about the consequences at another time.

There's been a few bits of information coming from the set. Apparently, our very own spotter Sandra (@shadowhunter on Twitter) saw Kevin Zegers, who plays Alec Lightwood, with wound makeup on today. We'll be looking for more reports from her very soon!!!

On Location: More pics from the TMI:COB set!

SET DAY 2: So we seemed to have a slight delay on posting pictures. Below you'll find some new photos of Lily Collins (Clary) and Robert Sheehan (Simon) on set together (and a couple of Lily alone.), from Tuesday 21st August. I'm not sure if they're filming in these but either way they look gorgeous, don't you think?

ON LOCATION: 'TMI: City of Bones' begins filming

The morning has been completely exciting on the first day of filming for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Our very own Shadowhunter spotter Sandra from @shadowhunting on Twitter has been on scene since about 5 am and has been giving fans the lowdown on location details all day.

Sandra has met Lily Collins, seen a Clace hug between Jamie and Lily and even got a pic with Robert Sheehan. Doesn't he totally look like Simon Lewis in this picture!!!?? We are all thrilled that Sandra got a chance to meet him. In a conversation with him, Robert told her that he doesn't have a Twitter account but has been thinking of joining up! Let's hope Sandra talked him into it!!
