Kevin Zegers discusses being his own stunt double in the City of Bones movie

While at WonderCon actor Kevin Zegers (Alec Lightwood) chatted with Hollywood Crush about performing his own stunts in the City of Bones movie. Kevin told HC that he, "...showed up about four weeks before we started, and it went through filming, so then on lunch break we would go and rehearse the fight sequences." He also said that, "Harald Zwart [director] wanted us to do our own stuff, which I think when you watch the movie you can tell. It's sort of great, and you can see that it's us, and it's violence and just as, like, a guy, I saw the new trailer and it looks awesome. It looks like a big action movie, also obviously, the love story and everything are going on and the fantasy stuff. The action stuff looks awesome."

He finished with saying the training and stunt work was "brutal" and "I'm like the old one of the group. The young twenties kids were very spry and bounced back. When we finished I was very tired."

Cassandra Clare talks casting for THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS with Clevver TV!

While at WonderCon on March 30, Clevver TV caught up with Cassandra Clare, where she talked The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones casting. She also talks how Robert Sheehan (Simon Lewis), Lily Collins ( Clary Fray) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace Wayland) are perfect for their roles.

The Mortal Instruments cast had a panel on Saturday at WonderCon where a bunch of Shadowhunters were able to view the new TMI trailer that will be released online on Monday. Not only did they get to see the first look at two new Clary and Jace character posters, but they also got a Q&A from Lily Collins, Kevin Zegers and Jamie Campbell Bower.

ICYMI: Cassie Clare and TMI cast grace WonderCon

Saturday, March 30, 2013 has finally arrived and you know what that means, The Mortal Instruments cast is at Wondercon. Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Kevin Zegers and Cassandra Clare are there to complete some interviews and reveal the new extended TMI trailer.

The cast interviews are set to be released on Monday, April 1st, just as the new trailer.

Lily Collins heads to WonderCon

After greeting fans this week at the Clockwork Princess signing at The Grove, Lily Collins chats with a friend outside Red-O restaurant in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (March 26).

Lily is on her way next to WonderCon March 30th, where the stars of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones will premiere the full theatrical trailer as well as do a panel and sign autographs.

THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES autograph session at WonderCon!

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones cast is set to appear at WonderCon this Saturday, March 30. At WonderCon a new trailer and Poster are being revealed. Along with Cassandra Clare will be Harald Zwart, Lily Collins and a few more cast members will take part in a Q& A.

Before the Q&A at 2:30 PM, cast members will be doing an autograph session from 10:30-11am PST at booth #176.

Cassandra Clare answers some 'Clockwork Princess', book tour and WonderCon questions!

Cassandra Clare took some time to answer a few of the questions on Tumblr asked by fans about 'Clockwork Princess' and WonderCon.

questions re: clockwork princess/Wondercon/signings

“Hello Cassie, I have a question for you, I’m meeting you on March 19th, are you going to sign all the people’s books or just an amount of people? :) — booksproblemss”

I always try to sign everyone’s books at a signing. The only few times I haven’t managed it have been when the bookstore wound up closing and tossing me out. But the whole idea of a book signing is, you know, you get your books signed. :)

By me, yes. By Lily, probably not — she is around for the Q and A part of the signings and some photos, but she won’t be signing book.

“hey cassie!! i am super excited for the new trailer and the poster to come out! and also CP2!! <3 but anyways, when you talk about the poster, does this mean it will be sold in stores? and if so what countries and which stores? I really hope I will be able to buy it and not just stare at it in the theatres behind a plate of glass *sighs** Thanks and love you and ur books <3 — sizzyherondale”

I am pretty sure the new poster is just for movie theaters. Usually when they start selling movie posters it is through bookstores, comic stores, Hot Topics, etc. and it’s closer to the film’s release.

“Hi Cassie! I had a slight heart attack when I heard some people already have a copy of Clockwork Princess. Is this true? If so, how? I’ve heard that there are some spoilers on Tumblr about the ending and other juicy things that happen in the book. It’s just really important to me that I don’t know the ending before I even start the book. — fallenshadowhunters”

Because embargoes are always broken. People got the last Harry Potter book early. Despite the fact that bookstores have strict instructions not to sell the book, there are always employees who forget/don’t care etc. The fault is not with the people who bought the book, keep that in mind. And, if you really don’t want to be spoiled:

1) Avoid the tags

2) Use Savior or something else like it to blacklist topics like Clockwork Princess and Will Herondale

3) Consider staying off tumblr entirely.

And when you do get the book, don’t read the family tree first. You’ll be sorry if you do!
