365 days of TMI: Day 364 The Kiss

It's Day 5 from the set of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, and the big news of the day was what has been now called the Jamily kiss. Whether they are a couple or not, stars Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins had fans going bananas on Twitter and Tumblr. This made me think about Jace and Clary's first kiss and how excited we will all be when we see that sweet moment from the Midnight Flower scene.

It was at first almost as if he hadn't wanted to kiss her: His mouth was hard on hers, unyielding; then he put both arms around her and pulled her against him.

Since we have 364 days to wait, I guess this cute moment on set is what we will cling to from now until the release.

Who knew that we'd get a glimpse of the real romance blossoming on the set of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones thanks to the work of the delicious crew of Just Jared? Today, TMI Set Day 5, a photog got this shot of Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins stealing a kiss during what looks like to be a break between takes.

Many fans are die hard Clary and Jace fans, but some wonder if this is merely method acting. Others suggest it's the start of true love. A few fans worry that a real relationship, just like we've recently seen with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, could eventually turn south and cause trouble on the set.. Nevertheless, we all can sigh now, be excited about the kiss and worry about the consequences at another time.

There's been a few bits of information coming from the set. Apparently, our very own spotter Sandra (@shadowhunter on Twitter) saw Kevin Zegers, who plays Alec Lightwood, with wound makeup on today. We'll be looking for more reports from her very soon!!!

Actor Spotlight: Harry Van Gorkum

So, I'll admit right away that I had no idea who Harry Van Gorkum was when I saw him listed as Alaric on the movie website. Good thing for me though, is that I am addicted to IMDb (seriously, I look EVERYTHING up on there).  What I learned is, our beloved series once again snagged some great talent, even if it isn't a main role.

Things I learned about Harry Van Gorkum:

• He's London-born, increasing the number of UK cast members yet again.
• He is a classically trained actor.
• This guy has quite the extensive resume. 

Where you may have seen him before:
This may be the hardest part of trying to tell you about Harry.  His IMDb shows 68 items as actor, though it doesn't even show his extensive stage theater career.  He has had a successful career in American TV as well.  I will admit (and possibly show my age) that I recognized soooo many things he's done, but I do realize that a good portion of our audience out there is younger than I am. Nevertheless, here are some things you may recognize Harry from:
