The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare returns to the New York Times childrens best seller list.
According to TMI movie executive producer Martin Moszkowicz, the series returns at number 7 for the second week and has in total been on the best seller list for 65 weeks.
The first book in the series, City of Bones, was adapted for the big screen by writers Jessica Postigo and Marlene King. The film stars Lily Collins as Clary Fray, a 15-year-old girl who discovers the world of Shadowhunters when she encounters Jace Wayland, who is played by Jamie Campbell Bower. The movie is directed by Harald Zwart and is set to premiere August 23, 2013.
