Cassandra Clare heads to Toronto

Cassandra Clare, writer of The Mortal Instruments series, is headed to Toronto today where the very first book of the series, City of Bones, is being made into film.

The cast is headed by Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower, who have been spotted out and about in Yorkville, Toronto in the last few weeks. We are all wondering what Cassie will ge doing on this first trip to the set. Here's a list of things we hope to see/hear during this trip (in random order):

• A first glance of the actors in Shadowhunter gear
• Any set pictures that she can secretly get away with tweeting :)
• A twitter party with the cast (we can certainly dream)
• To find out the identity of Rapheal, Alaric and Church
• Any type of posts regarding info about the movie ... at all... we are craving more and more details!
• A picture with Martin Moszkowicz, an executive producer for the movie, who we think is awesome for keeping us up-to-date on movie news!

The cast and crew get set to begin filming on Monday, August 20th, and we at The Mortal Institute plan to keep you up-to-date with the latest news!
